In a caring and positive atmosphere, we can create a warm and happy place for the whole child to learn. As we bridge the gap from home to school, we guide children to continued good self-image while building social skill in a school-like setting.

Recognizing that children grow in predictable stages, we treat each child as an individual, working for the level each child has attained and moving forward a step at a time. We teach a love of learning by allowing children to feel success with out pressure.

About us

Busy Bee is located at 921 N. Raleigh St. in the heart of Angier. Our staff members are well educated with either a Bachelor or Associates Degree in education/early childhood or their degree is in progress. All staff members are CPR/First Aid certified and are also reqired to attend various trainings through out the year. Most of our staff members have may years of experience in child care.

We care for children birth to twelve years old. We have classrooms for every age; infants through four years old as well as afterschool children. We have expanded as of mid-November 2007, our new building keeps infants through three years old. The main building has four, four year old classrooms as well as afterschool classrooms. Busy Bee participates in the More at Four program funded by Smart Start and the NC Office of School Readiness, we have three classrooms that participate in the program. We also offer before/after school care, track out (Willow Springs Elementary) as well as a school age summer camp program. We are serviced by N. Harnett Primary and Angier Elementary and we drop off/pick up from Willow Springs Elementary.

We are also expanding into Erwin. The new location will be located at 957 Maynard Lake Road. The building is not yet built and an exact open date is unknown, but we are planning to open Summer/Fall 2008. Our building next door is for infants to three years old. The new building opened on November 19, 2007.
